Re: transfer of guns for another persons probation?
You're starting off with the wrong question-
Call the PO back and ask him to cite the law that requires you to transfer your firearms to someone else.
There is no such law, so you are likely to run into the catch all:
Probation is not a right- the judge can impose any conditions he wants on the person being granted probation.
If you refuse to comply, no big deal, she just won't be granted probation until she meets the conditions- which means you agree to give up your firearms.
So, how badly do you want her back?Crusader's local #556 South Central Asia chapter

I take it you 2 live together? Same address?
As long as you lock them up so she is denied access/possession , you're good to go.I don't speak English , I talk American!

Re: transfer of guns for another persons probation?
The truth of the matter is that SHE can't have access fo firearms. The PO will take that to mean they can't be under the roof. Really it means what it means and a simple lock box with a combination she doesn't know should suffice.
It's her problem though if she cant live there, he has no authority over you and personally I wouldn't be getting rid of anything. Worst case scenario, if you actually love the woman, store them off site where she has no access and tell him they are gone. He has no right to search anywhere other than her residence, as far as I know.
Talk to a lawyer about it if you want to be sure.
