Flying pork?
Anyone flown with game meat lately? Specifically wild pork and maybe some venison too. Is it better to fly with it frozen solid or just cold with gel packs? Is there a rule with airlines or just individual preference?

"To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic." -- Ted Nugent

You might want to edit the title to be more explanatory, I almost passed it by thinking it was just a joke thread.

I think one of the requirements is that no muslims may be on the plan with disassembled pork products.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Re: Flying pork?
My kid got a boar in Florida, and flew back with the meat in a cooler.
Dunno if it was all halal, but he got it home.

Re: Flying pork?
Update:. Got home well with pork vacuum sealed and frozen. Cooked some and it was amazing! Gotta get back there to get more of it.
