Shops near Pittsburgh

New to the Pittsburgh area, and looking to trade a firearm for store credit.

Any recommendations for a shop that will treat me fairly?

Any reason you'd choose $150 in store credit vs $240 cash?

I just pulled the numbers out of my butt, but the shop needs to make a profit - they aren't going to give you what you could get by selling it on your own.

I would never settle for what a shop gives me, so I can't suggest any place since I've never done that.

Pittsburgh is not descriptive enough. Huge travel distance between the North and South Hills and out east like Monroville. And a bunch of shops in between.

A&S Indoor Pistol Range (not in Pgh but close) will at least let you know over the phone if they are interested in your trade in. Give them a call 724-925-1212, but as stated, you'll get more selling it on your own to another individual.

I've sold and traded many guns over the years to individuals and dealers. In this instance I have specific reasons for seeking out a shop, but thanks anyway for the advice.
