I posted two things towards him directly one about eliminating the taboo of firearms and going back to teaching this in school for a few hours a year.

The 2nd a recommendation was that the state require anyone who holds the self appointed title of "Firearms Instructor" and profits off such by teaching or running a school a mandated license that would involve completing a state approved course, followed by the state approving each of the courses they will be teaching, facility inspections, and required instructor re qualifications every few years.

Funny that neither of these two "sensible" ideas that would defiantly help with public safety did not receive a response from him, however many of the more argumentative posts made towards him did.

I don't think anyone made this point. Mandatory training leads to minimum standards. Dumb down coarse and cost barrier to exercise a basic right. Boiled down it's just a tax in both time and money.

Plenty of free gun law seminars put on in places like Cabellas by sheriffs where people can get enough food for thought, that they might just want to seek out training as a prophylactic against bad things they learn about.

Someone on the Facebook thread did, but it's a good point worth repeating. In states with mandated training, it's boiled down to the lowest common denominator. Not exactly high quality or worthwhile.

What a complete cowardly bag of vomit.
Looks like he scrubbed his personal Facebook page as well.

Consider common core math in government schools. Now consider common core gun training.

The fact they have “sheepdog” in their company name makes me want to vomit.
