Good thing people don't shoot themselves when they're properly trained.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

You want mandatory training for firearms safety, the kind that would prevent this? Fine, you have every American from age 5 to 18 for 9 months per year. Take 5 minutes every June and tell them never to point a gun at anyone unless they plan to kill them.

Most schools have Driver's Ed classes, because cars are so prevalent and they're dangerous if abused. So are guns. Do the math.

They also teach them sex ed and how to put a condom on. But can't spend a few minutes covering gun safety.

Their argument is "we don't want kids to believe that guns are safe". While they teach them that 0.05mm of latex will allow them to butt-hump an HIV+ sick man and be safe.

Anyone who uses the term sheepdog in seriousness when not talking about actual dogs, is not to be taken seriously.

Looks like ole sheepy tripled down this morning to tell us that it’s clear we only care about the 2nd Amendment and don’t care about his 1st Amendment rights. He’s also offering his services for free to learn us peons in the ways of the gun as well as the law. It was said that he should be required to pass the Bar before teaching the law.

    Guys a douche.

Uncle Jumbo loves trolling on Facebook, he can have his whole day planned with this clown.

Ohh and as I predicted last night he pulled the veteran and retired LE card which makes him smarter and safer then all of us.

They must be doing a free clinic for the blind since there are no targets in the stands.

The brother of the 15 year old shot and killed in the linked article just responded demanding this idiot remove the story from the link and stop tying to tun this into a political or money making scheme.

This ass clown was enough to break my almost two year Facebook silence.

Altra Firearms this past fall extensively redid their outdoor shooting range, and now I know why. They not only want to sell guns, ammo, and accessories, they want to turn firearms training into a profit center as well.

There's a lot of wannabee "operators" there, and among the "camp followers" who hang out. I was there this past spring and a group of guys were taking a "course" on the outdoor range. I walked up and watched for a while from far behind the firing line, and the next time the Instructor/RO called a cease fire and started to lecture, he stopped and called to me asking what I was doing. I said, "Watching." He told me it was a closed course and I couldn't watch. I waved both arms around and asked, "How would one know; there is no signage to that regard?" The Instructor/RO asked if I was some kind of wiseass. I said, "No, not at all. I'm asking a legitimate question, because other store customers like me may be curious and walk up upon their closed course, and not stop this far back. Besides, I might want to take one of your courses." He then told me to leave because I didn't have ear protection. I turned my head both ways, showing the fluorescent orange earplugs I had installed as I left the car. So he says, "Look, if you're going to be difficult, we have Law Enforcement here and they can deal with you the hard way." I turned around, lifting my arms above my head as I walked away and entered the underground bunker store. I asked to speak to the CO or OIC, and told the guy what happened. He apologized and said he'd speak to the Instructor/RO. I told the guy I came to check out the used firearms but this experience did not leave me in a positive frame of mind, and turned and walked out.

I've bought a few guns there and some accessories but I'm done there after this.
