Sig p365 review

Since the wifey and I cannot decide which of us gets the next gun, we decided that the dog will buy a p365 for us to share. almost put one on layaway at dunhams last night

I'm waiting for a big failure with my 365 that hopefully won't happen. The only issue I've had thus far is with Winchester 124gr FMJ whitebox stuff. A couple failure to feeds. A guy at the range told me the bullet in that round protrudes from the casing slightly more than the 115 stuff and it was getting hung up on the feed ramp. Not sure if that's true or not, I didn't check/measure...I just shoot. All I know is every other type of 115gr ball ammo I sent through it worked perfectly (Fiocchi, Magtech, Armscor, Blazer, etc..). Wonder if there's any truth behind the 124gr being a bit longer bullet. I'm at roughly 1500 rounds (I think). I really like the gun. Hopefully it keeps on plinkin' away.

I did shoot with some 124 without problems. I’ve stayed away from Winchester ammo for as a long as i can remember. I don’t even remember what turned me off of it, I just know that I had a bad experience years ago.

The best gun to have is the one you have with you. I've been carrying for 50 years, and the P365 is by far the most comfortable 9mm gun to wear that I've ever owned with this capacity.

That magazine is magic. It's packed like a clown car. I don't know how they do it, but I sure like 10+1 better than 6+1.

Here's another good review. His striker broke at 2000 rounds. It was from April, so he didn't have the redesigned striker.

The drag is more common to smaller subcompact pistols that being said my 43 and Shield don't have it but I have seen other 43's that had slight drag.

I checked the spent brass from my Walther PPS M2 and no primer drag.

The P365 is still intriguing to me though. I had never thought of having two different potential small carry guns. But when my PPS had to go back for the recall I was left with nothing in the category.

I have a P365 born in November, no issues after 500+ rds of breaking it in.
Only mod is a Houge slip on grip, personally I wasn't a fan of the factory stipple.
It's certainly not a range gun, but it fits the concealed carry role pretty well. Small, lightweight, 10+1 and very reliable.
I doubt I'll ever put more then 1 or 2 mags a month down the pipe so the 2000+ rd problem doesn't bother me.

I have a hard time thinking that. Kel-Tec designed the PF9 and the P3AT with an average 1000-1500 round life some fail way before others have lasted longer, the difference is it says Keltec on the side and they cost $225 and below.

I pay $500-$550 for a Sig Sauer and then another $35-$50.00 per magazine and then a holster it better be a hell of a lot more then just another evidence room gun capable of an acceptable round count before a complete out of commission failure.

Has money really become this worthless?
