If Sig ever comes out with a 1911 Legion, I'll be all over it.

I agree FN does the same, but SIG's discontinued products list used to be on their website and it was huge. One discontinued rifle that comes to mind is the Sig 556. At one time FN was coming out with innovative rifles/carbines such as the FN SCARS, FS2000, P90 that I thought they were going to be the next H&K of the 80s. Now it looks like they became boring and entered the AR 15 market. Like we need another AR 15 manufacturer?

I've seen that discontinued Sig list. Some pretty weird stuff sometimes. What the heck is tribal and who carrys a purple Sig? Hokey smokes. I was hoping to put my grubby paws on a German frame stainless nitron p226 in 9mm but they are discontinued and can't be found anywhere.

I'd love to have a P230 or a 232 but not for what they originally cost.

I think they dicontinued the 290. One of the best DOA pocket nines (IMHO) that never got any love.

I still have a Sig 232 in stainless. I believe it's the best looking gun they made. I could do without the magazine release being located at the magazine well.

They did make a lot of junk. A lot another discontinued oddity was their diamond plate design on some of their handguns. I suspect that is part of their problem nowadays. They make too much stuff and quality control suffers.

I look for the MK25 to be added to Sig's discontinued list when they run out of slides milled for short extractors, or frames with 1913 type rails. Whichever comes first. The MK25 is being phased out as the issued handgun for SEALs, which was the major selling point for the MK25. I've always been a fan of (most of) Sig's classic P-Series guns, but with Sig winning the military contract for striker fired handgun, they may not see the profit in continuing to make a gun that has specs that are so much different than their other 226s & Legions. It's all about the bottom line.
