I am really not a fan of the polymer Sigs..I prefer the older metal frame ones

It's polymer gun herpes. Don't touch it until it forms a thin skin over the eruption or you'll get it.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I did contact sig this morning and wound up sending pictures. They said "Not to worry, nothing we can see here is out of the ordinary, or puts you, or the gun at ANY sort of risk. If you suffer any functional issues, or you notice any new symptoms, by all means feel free to reach out so we can lend a hand, but otherwise this gun looks like it's at 100%."

It was reassuring to hear that some others had something similar. I will be breaking the gun in this weekend.

    Thanks again,

I have enough Cabela's poinst for a P365. They have been out of stock for awhile but someone just told me they are available now to ship to the Hamburg store.

Hi, I just looked at my P365 Ser # 66A008056, and it does not have that or any marks on the frame or slide.

I have the same mark. I have 350 rounds out of mine and all was good until I was shooting it Monday. while shooting the striker plate comes loose and falls about 1/8". well a quick search online and this has happened to others. no faith in this gun now. I'll probably sell it for 1/2 what I paid for it. also need to get rid of my junk Kimber ultra carry but luckily I only paid $10 for that in a raffle

H&K needs to remake this commercial (modified for their product, of course).

Sorry to hear this. That’s the first I’ve heard of this problem. Since posting this I have seen that mark on other 365’s. I am still confident with mine but don’t blame you a bit. It sucks that sig has set up a situation where the early buyers are the testers of the gun. It really has soured me on sig as company on the whole.

Thanks for the heads up. I have seen the mark on other guns in videos I have watched. Not sure why it’s there on some and not other.
