I seriously doubt our forefathers who wrote the second amendment would agree with your opinion.

This open carry boogey man has to die. It's an old school way of thinking. ALL of the people that have been hammering me in the background about this are 60+.

Same guys who keep the local gun clubs (their personal hang outs) 35 years in the past by adding endless rules that apply to anyone with a semi auto rifle and pistol with those grossly unnecessary bananna clips.

I'm the furthest thing from a FUDD, and I'm well under 60. Just sayin' why give them more ammunition for the spin cycle.

Who cares what they think, they aren't breaking any laws. They'll spin it no matter what.

Well I'm 63 and do not like the connection between mature people and Fudds so let's everyone end that association right now.

Why give them more ammunition you ask? Because they don't want to see those scary guns. Because I am not going to cower down because of thier draconian fears. Because it is our right, a right they can NOT grant or deny. Because they need to see we mean business and are NOT afraid. Because our fore fathers would never keep thier long guns at home.

Might as well keep our mouths shut too so they don't try to take away our 1A rights as well.

Everyone standing there, silent, unarmed, and well-dressed gets what message across, exactly?

They already think that most people don't own guns. Why make it appear that they are right?

Show them that gun owners do exist - and that they DO own scary black rifles - and aren't doing anything wrong, or illegal.

If only we leave long guns home, the media will be our friends and report on us fairly?

The days of playing from weakness are long gone.

We need to take a stand. (I am not suggesting violence, just that we must not cower to these fools.)
