on 12/31 my elderly mother in-law fell and broke her ankle in multiple places.
She has had successful surgery and back home.
I have been trying to figure out how to assist her best in her house and still make the rally as I feel this one is EXTREMLY important.

Sadly I just am not able to support family and still make the rally.

I will be with you all in heart and soul and hope to not only read about it on here, but see it on TV

They already are if you saw those TV clips about it, and the rally has not even happened yet! You speak a fundamental truth. It does not matter, OC, CC, No Carry -- they are going to spin the narrative the way they want and no fact is going to get in the way. If our numbers are large, they will report they were small and air video of a tiny fragment of the crowd. I suppose if the turnout is low, they will report that with glee and then show video of the most fearsome and angry people in the crowd, portraying them as dangerous lunatics and all subjects of future Red Flag orders. If there is a big crowd, they will show more of the most fearsome and angry people in the crowd. That is what they do. If they can get an angry face or, better, an angry soundbyte, that is is all they will show.

They will not mention that it is the Mayor and Council that are acting in violation of the law, just the gun nuts whose use of the First Amendment threatens all!

There. I wrote their script for them so they can file their reports from their desks. Most of them have already written the copy or had it given to them by Peduto and Wolf, they just need to spice it up with some photos, clips and sounds.

Just don't rise to their bait and they will put plenty of it out there. They will try to annoy and provoke you into saying something rash. So do not. They will invade your personal space if they can and jam a camera into your face to provoke a swat or an angry look. Don't give it to them. No matter what you say they will edit it against you beyond all recognition. That is just the media! The counter protestors and the Democrat's Antifa agitators who may be summoned to attend are going to be worse.
