I noticed that too but you know how it goes.... If a reporter has no idea what he is talking about, make stuff up that sounds official...
    FAKE NEWS.

People that have no idea about guns are their target audience anyway...

As smooth of a rally as any I've been to. Good speakers. Especially enjoyed Sam Piccinini. Reports on attendance are between 500-600 which is great for a Monday. Well done Justin for your efforts. Thanks to Lazylazer for allowing us to park at your place, hope to see you at some of the group shoots coming up. Thanks to Howard Stiffy for the ride to and from the event. It was great to see many familiar faces along with some new ones, you guys rock!

Just got home about an hour ago.

All I can say is WOW. This was amazing! I'm still in shock how well everything came together between the police cooperation, the guest speakers, the attendance and the shear number of people who carried guns of all kinds and did so without a hitch. I believe I witnessed history today and I hope this sets the standard for rally's to come. Some day we will look back on this day as the beginning of something great. The day we finally said enough was enough and stopped hiding in the shadows because carrying our guns might make us look bad. The day when we decided that in order for us to mean it when we say our guns aren't dangerous or bad we SHOWED them that hundreds of guns can be carried and nothing bad would happen! How can we say our guns are safe and normal if we leave them at home, too scared to practice what we preach. This will be the new shot heard round the world without firing a single round. CeasefirePA gave up, the gray haired heckler gave up and soon the criminal Pedildo will give up because we are HERE and we will not comply with infringements to our rights!

    Outstanding people!

All the best to you all. I'm sick and heading to work. Wish I was there.
Really, classy wasn't it. I have her on video littering too, guess she doesn't care about the environment. Or Jewish people, she must be some kind of Nazi.

No antifa or bussed in protestors that I saw. Very few in opposition actually.

Lots of open carry pistols, quite a few rifles too. Surprisingly I saw way more thumbs up signs, than people fleeing in terror. Shocked SHOCKED I say.

I hope you're right. This was the best possible way this could have gone.

Sorry, long ride home! By the time we got back to lazy's, grabbed a nice meal at a local restaurant, and hit the road, it made for a long day.

I arrived at 1st ave garage at 11:15, and it was full. I knew it was going to be a good day! They opened the first floor just as I was about to leave, so back in I went. I parked next to a woman, who was rooting in her trunk. At this point I was a bit late and thought, the hell with it, gear up. AR came out, posters came out, and and the GoPro was mounted.

She looked over at me and a smile came to her face, and she pulled a shotgun out of her trunk! We introduced ourselves and hit the road just I time to catch the main contingent walking up to grant street. We arrived with completely professional police escort. The entire day Pittsburgh's finest were nothing but professional, right down to the mounted patrol. Impressive!

Speakers were good, and there were no more then maybe 10 counter protesters to our 600 a strong. I saw no fingering of rifles, no arguments, no problems or arrests. There was nothing the news could use as negative. Afterwards I caught up with some fellow PAFOA at the rally and headed Lazy's way, where we regrouped and had a nice meal at the industrial public house. Good stuff!

All in all my faith in PAFOA was sustained; when help is needed members step up. JustinHemi did a fantastic job behind the scenes, and so many others stepped up with fliers, flags, posters, and even city knowledge. There were plenty of people who drove even further than I did (3:15). A shout out to the Ohio folks too. As Pa follows NY, NJ and MD, Ohio will follow PA. Stay villigant!

Finally, I also firmly believe the open carry did our side good. Not only did it get us publicity and extra participants, which we've been able to spin positively, but the number of people on the street who said 'thank you' was amazing. There are a whole bunch of closet gun owners whose friends and family have belittled them, and now they realize they are not alone. I believe we are going to gain momentum as these kinds of bills continue to raise their ugly heads across the state.

I noticed the Incline got a great shot of a guy who looks just like me, holding a sign, just like mine

I showed that to little girl. She had a big smile.
