The otherwise low key response may be in part due to no counter-protests materializing. Tim McNulty, spokesman for the mayor’s office, said Thursday that there would be a police presence in part to ensure that the protest is separate from any counter-protests going on, but did not identify any specific planned counter-protests.

Shira Goodman, executive director of the gun control group CeaseFirePA, said the group supports the proposed legislation but is not planning anything because “the people who come to our events are not so comfortable with lots of armed people.”

“An open carry rally is just a blatant intimidation tactic,” Ms. Goodman said.

Sorry (not sorry) you don't feel as strongly about your rights as we do about ours.

When was the last time a LTCF holder shot at a CFPA member anyway? I'll wait.

It's more like Bloomberg forgot to send a check, bus ride and a free lunch voucher for this one.

Just goes to show how RIGHT we are in open carrying to this. If we did it Kimmy's way, they might be there. Now WE own the narrative.

when you do restroom or food, go in groups of 4. remember to keep them pointed in a safe direction when you transition them from one owner to another while two keep eyes for people looking to take advantage of someone with two arms full of rifles, rotating off at any given time one man is unarmed, one man has both arms full and two are watching out.

this way you can partake of local facilities and goods without disturbing businesses or being caught with your rifle slung over your back while surrounded by others in line.

just a thought... chicks do indeed piss in groups, it's not hard to organize by 4's.
could probably work it with 3's.

    keep safe, have fun, represent.

PS, i'm all out of rep "for 24hrs"

I've given this a thought. I will probably forego the morning binge of coffee, although I make a mean French press.

What I got out of it is that we need to be counter protesting all of their events with long arms openly carried.
    Life has a melody.
