I just spoke with the City Attorney and they’re willing to agree to a stay of implementation and enforcement of the ordinances until such time as the Court renders a decision on the underlying challenges. Allegheny County Sportsmen’s League’s (ACSL) Contempt Petition has been assigned to Judge James (now a senior judge), who previously ruled in 1996 in ACSL’s favor on a motion to enforce the settlement agreement. Thus, we believe we’re in good hands.

No, because there isn’t a formal written agreement/stipulation that has been entered into. Once there is, I’m sure the media will become aware

City agreed to not put ordinances into force until court decision made.

The rules won't go into effect until all of the legal stuff is resolved, and will only go into effect if the stuff works out in the city's favor. The judge that has the case ruled against the city in 1996, forcing the city to acknowledge preemption.
