Here's a dose of reality though. What if you happen to be issued a summons while you are defying the law? The fee is $1000. If you don't pay, additional fees mount quickly. If you plead not guilty, be prepared for a long expensive legal battle that ends up at the PA Supreme Court which is a 5-2 democrat advantage.

What does a person do in that case? You can say "screw them and their ordinances" all you want. It feels good to say that. (don't get me wrong, I say it too) But in the end, each of us has to decide if we have the financial ability to defend ourselves from the state (in this case city). That's not a slam dunk decision for most people.
