    ....indicate that defensive uses of guns by crime victims are far more common than offensive uses by criminals. CDC has never reported these results.
    Probably realized the flaw in extrapolated figures. It was extrapolation that led to an estimated 3900+ deaths in the hurricane that hit Puerto Rico.

    A problem with the national crime study that used census data that identified the person who had to use a firearm for self defense, which gave different results from approximately 20 other studies.
