Nice job liked it so much mine is on the way hell of a price imo. If you got a lower laying around why not go for it.

    Thanks!
LOL! I'm not trying to get people to buy it - not like I'm getting a share of the profits or anything. Just figured that I personally like to see detailed images of something before I decide to buy it, so I thought it may be helpful to someone to see some closeups.

I've had a complete lower collecting dust for over a year, just waiting for this setup to come along at a good price.

Actually, I decided to use that lonely lower in a different way.
Instead of using it for this upper, I took the upper off another complete carbine and replaced it with this PSA upper. That lower had higher quality parts in it.

The "carry handle" upper now sits atop the "basic" lower. (just reconfigured it today, replacing the plastic handguard with a Magpul MOE set - pics may appear at a later date)

    This...

    turned into this...

and I'll be adding that green Gear Sector 2 point sling to it as well.
All I need now is a red dot.

Now all you need is some range time. Nice build Emptymag.

I forgot to mention it when I posted pics, but be sure to lube the bolt carrier group before shooting.
It comes to you looking pretty dry.

Got a budget optic for it to see if I like this type of scope before spending good money on a quality optic and end up not liking it.

CenterPoint (Crosman) 1-4x20mm with illuminated reticle.
    $58 shipped on Amazon
    https://www.crosman.com/optics/cp-ta...ar-rifle-scope

Very basic mount is included. (here and above you can also see the BCM Gunfighter medium charging handle I've scavenged off another rifle)

I had to remove the Magpul MBUS sights since they aren't usable with this optic.
I was considering folding offset 45 degree BUIS but it was mentioned that I can buy 45 degree offset rail segments and mount my existing MBUS set to those. I may give that a try - much less costly than a new set of sights or a quick detach mount.

Up next is a sling. I have the sling already, but need to figure out a mounting option for the front end.
I'll probably just use paracord to make a loop.

This was the best pic of the reticle I could get in a hurry. I had to angle it to catch the red against the inside of the scope because the background was washed out when viewed with the camera straight through the glass.
