Bolt carrier group is by Toolcraft.

Sorry, since this isn't arfcom, I didn't disassemble it, measure it with a micrometer, or send out a sample of the metals for lab analysis - I just took a few pics.

Staking would probably cause a server crash on arfcom - probably the "mildest" staking of any of my rifle's bolt carrier groups.
(my 7.62x39 build uses a Toolcraft and the staking is much more pronounced)

and the best pic I could get of the feed ramps...

    Thanks for the write up.

What does the MPI on the bolt stand for?

    Magnetic particle Inspection

It's a process for testing the surface and subsurface for inconsistencies. I am probably leaving something out or not using the correct wording but it's a QC test you want done on your Bolt and carrier.

    Oh awesome! Thanks Hodgie!
Any idea how you identify a toolcraft BCG?
Hoping to identify my combat arms bolt, I was surprised to see it was an auto/m4 bolt and now glad to see it has the MPI stamp on it as well

I couldn't identify one BCG from another without markings, but PSA listed it as a Toolcraft BCG in the specs, so I'm taking their word for it.
They usually include one of their own PSA BCGs, so if not otherwise noted, I assume a BCG included in a PSA upper is "theirs".
That said, I don't know who makes the PSA BCG either. LOL!

Sort of like stripped uppers/lowers, there are a few manufacturers that make most of them for other companies - some are unmarked, and some get rebranded. Even PSA has different versions of their own - they have the standard BCG and the "premium" BCG - and you can get the premium BCG with or without the PSA logo. ($10 more for the logo version)

The lower used consists of the following...

    Lower - Del-Ton
Buffer Tube Kit - Spikes Tactical milspec tube with ST-T2 heavy buffer
Trigger - Rock River Arms National Match 2-Stage trigger
Stock - Mission First Tactical Minimalist stock
    Grip - Hogue overmold/rubber

Items that will be scavenged off another rifle and added:
Charging handle - BCM Gunfighter "medium" latch
Extended mag release - Odin Works

    Thanks!
My 7.62x39 was my favorite AR, but this may give it a run for it's money.
