Yes instead this year they are taking away from us. Ban bump stocks, etc. Shame on Trump for giving in. I guess he will be a one term President if he goes through with it as his hard corp deplorables won't support this.

Yep, he really ticked off the left, and many of his supporters don' t think he's done enough and rolled on them. I fear a return to a Demoncrat next election.

It's too early to say. Lots can happen over the next year before we get to presidential season.

Personally I think the bigger issue is the Republican Party rather than Trump and a number of lame do nothing support nothing people running the show. The Republican Party has no platform right now. What we really need is a Newt Gingrich type person to come along to devise a legislative agenda and to market it to the American people. Republicans always win when they stand for something.
