I'll bet their insurance carrier is not aware of this portion of their class.

They list 13 training locations on their web site. Now that this video is out there, what range would be crazy enough to host these idiots?

It's not a real tactical class unless they're doing the Tactical Macarena.

Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

WTF did I just watch? Who would be so stupid to let someone shoot past you? Who wouldn't walk away after seeing what the drill is? How on earth do these idiots get insurance?

Shouldn't it be enough that Garry has TWO recommendations?

I'm spelling this out for the uninitiated since this is posted in the public forum.

The video above is referred to as "downrange" training because students are standing forward of other students firing live ammunition.
Generally speaking, live fire downrange training drills are considered an unacceptable risk unless performed by very highly trained professionals.

Untrained students don't understand that military people doing real live fire downrange training are already extensively and continuously trained.
Even the highly trained military people have fatal live fire downrange training accidents from time to time.

To have untrained students perform the live fire downrange training drill shown in the video is unacceptable and extremely dangerous.
It may not be long before one of their students is accidentally shot and killed by another student shooting behind them.

It is also unacceptable for a training outfit to post videos instructing untrained viewers that live fire downrange training drills are acceptable.
A reputable training outfit has a responsibility to make sure their videos do not cause unintended harm to untrained viewers following their instructions.

If you are a novice shooter please make it a priority to take a reputable gun safety class to learn how to use your gun correctly.
The PAFOA membership can suggest reputable gun safety classes if requested.

I can't believe Jared would approve of this.... I can see if the demo only involved highly trained individuals, but not a bunch of untrained people..
