    Congrats Jules,

    Nice buck.
internet just came on in Tionesta

I'll fish and dog watch Chance ( my buddies dog) while he hunts.

If he gets one, we'll drag out together.

In preperation for the first day, I took out a old round front toilet and installed an elongated with a soft close seat. Ha.

No, I did not. I am not that concerned because it is on the skull.

So the deers brain was not oozing out ? lol. You are right,I did harvest a few deer over the years up in Ulster County, one with a barrel ring around its hips, another with a broadhead stuck in its spine for years and survived and lastly one that had a weird odor from the organ area so I tend to be more cautious of any oddities, again Congrats on a respectable buck !

I am getting the whole skull cleaned at the NY processor and am debating having a buddy hydro dip it. My daughter's Ruger American compact in .243 does it again. I may never carry another rifle. EDITED TO ADD: There is ZERO orange requirement in NY even during the rifle season. I was also wearing an orange jacket but removed it so I could roll up my sleeves to dress this deer. Also, you can see that his right antler had some type of infection at the base. The puss looked pretty bad and smelled even worse.

Congrats Jules! You've changed a bit from the last time I've seen you. Did you shave or something?
