Default Carrying at the Sands Event Center

A friend from church has offered up tickets to a concert coming up sometime in the next few weeks at the Sands Event Center over in Bethlehem. I've never been there. Anyone gone recently and noticed any metal detectors or wands? I'd like to go, but I'd prefer not to leave my sidearm locked up in the car.

Thanks in advance! It's appreciated. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

You will at least get a pat down. Don't carry.

I was sent back to my car to drop off a 2.5" pocket knife I forgot I had on me.

I got a pat down as well and had to send a pocket knife to the car. Looks like it is hit or miss.

To be clear, just going in the casino or mall didn't get any notice at all. When going into a ticketed event, I've been patted down every time.

i've been for comedy shows, they are "no carry" by policy.

You will be wanded and patted down if necessary.

Women have their purses looked at and wanded.

My wife and I go to concerts there regularly.

12/3/18 Got me and the wife wanded at the event center,Security passed the wand and gets the reaction not expected before he ask me if I have any metal he waves over a P.O I said he did not ask but I do carry a shield ,P.O. Laughs and I pass on thru. The security could be instructed better to ask the patron if there is any metal on their body instead of looking for backup immediatley.great Show Cirque Holidaze and Slots well they paid for our Christmas in full,Not always that lucky !
