Default PA Hunters Sharing the Harvest to Feed the Hungry

    https://www.morningagclips.com/hunte...OKPKPRd_W_EVjI

I have plenty of Venison for my own freezer and will donate if I take a doe during the gun or flintlock season.

If your cup runneth over then consider donating and providing the BEST red meat to those less fortunate.

Be safe and have fun on Monday.

    Happy Thanksgiving ALL!!!

I donated a deer through this program last year for the first time. I was surprised to receive a letter from the PA Department of Agriculture thanking me for the donation. They sent a cool sticker too. I plan on donating an additional deer this year.

Just seen a commercial on tv for this the other night. This needs way more media attention than its getting.

It appears that this is the processor in your area participating in the program.

I had 20 lbs of ground venison in a friends freezer I forgot about.
I called a food bank in Washington Pa. to ask if they took venison and they said yes.
They were thankful for the donation.
If I happen to get a doe, I'll donate again.
For the cost of processing, someone will get a few meals.

I was wondering if they were willing to take Venison that I would butcher and process myself? Also might check out the Bethesda Mission here in H-Burg. I haven't used a butcher for a long long time. There is one close that is in the program. Wonder what they prefer?
