    Default The Bullpup Shotgun Thread

The idea has been rolling around in my head that we are currently in the golden age of "cool" shotguns. There is so much variety in AR and AK pattern shotties ( a lot of which are currently on sale) and quite a few bullpups floating around too. I'm really considering one of the bullpups after buying the VR-60. The various models that Classic Firearms have is tempting, but when I saw these at Atlantic the noggin really got joggin'

Of course there are other options too

I'm mostly just thinking out loud, but it seems to me kind of stupid not to pick up something like this when the market is full of them, because I can't see them still being around in a couple of years.

This is the Mossberg 500 bullpup design that I like the most. This video is a little goofy but you can see the gun good.

Damn you, now I'm going to want to start getting some of those! I have a couple of the old Mossberg 500 bullpups just because they are neat, but those look amazing - all of them. Here I go - thanks

How about you buy all of them and then tell us which one does the best?

I think my favorite out of these is the MK1923... in general these seem more useful overall than the short-barreled birds-head grip type shottie (and I HAVE one of those just because they're cool). I am interested if anyone out there has actual experience with any of these...

Anybody get one and try it yet? The Panzer seems to have the most reviews...

Panzer Arms AR-12, The one I have isn't the bullpup version, so I'm not sure about how the trigger linkage.

Cycled well on cheap federal birdshot and low recoil slugs. Needs some slicking up to cycle as fast as my Saiga-12. The rear sight needs a little "tightening" up since the rear aperture wants to slide too much. I also took off the cheek riser, the rattling annoyed me.

Very glad that this thread has been resurrected. I had one of the original Mossberg bullpups, and it ran flawlessly. Selling it is one of the many mistakes that I made, and now I want a new one. Damn, every time I read a thread like this it winds up costing me money.
