Decent walkaround. Almost picked up a Colt Commander 9mm for $750, but not a screaming deal, so passed. Also passed on a FEG HiPower clone at $450, but it looked brand new, not refinished. Met up with a guy I connected with on HKPro Forum and he let me fondle his 2 Zenith MP5 clones with FA trigger packs. Saw one Zenith 5P for $2500. No thanks. Countless overpriced firearms as usual. Bought some Alpaca socks for the wife from Goldie, good guy, Vietnam vet.

Oh, and the wife and I had a $25 lunch consisting of a hot dog, burger, cheese fries and 2 Cokes. Food was room temp, so were the Cokes. But all in all, a decent way so spend a rainy day.

I saw ScotsGuards at Oaks yesterday as well. Bought this really nice Harrington & Richardson 999 Sportsman in the original box from his table.

Bought some Alpaca socks for the wife from Goldie, good guy, Vietnam vet.

Is that the table that's usually in the back center between the two (or in this case, 3) halls? Couple of big, wooden tables with socks? I thought about picking up some each time I go but always pass. Are they worth it over a normal wool sock?

This is the first I'd seen this guy at this show (doesn't mean he hasn't been there though), I saw him up at that Allentown Fair back in the summer though. He pushes 'em hard.

He's definitely been there before, at least at the December show. Wife feels the alpaca is softer than the wool. He does sell wool socks too.

yeah lots of flea market venders, you couldnt go more than 2 rows without more tables full of flea market chinese knives, dremel stuff , hi vis shirts and sweat shirts, socks, or gloves

You could ban those vendors altogether but then you may not have a show. The bottom line is you found what you want. The variety is an asset, like the artisan in the corner sewing leather holsters from scratch all to the sound of Big Band music.

i went to get a holster made and couldn't find Aubrey's table... didn't see them last show, either. anyone know if they still make holsters?
