My most vivid memory from the old Valley Forge show was when the wife and I drove there one time. She dropped me off and proceeded to the KOP mall. I bought a Nambu pistol, then did the mile or so hike to the mall. Got to our car then realized that the wife had the only set of keys. There had just recently been a mall shooting incident and this was before I had my carry permit, so no way was I taking the gun into the mall. Had to call the wife to come out and unlock the car, she was not happy. We never did that again for some reason......

It's not legal for oostate FFL to transfer to public. Nothing wrong with oostate FFLtransfering to instate FFL who then transfers to public And yes, it's a stupid reg.

The Perps were eventually caught and as of this writing all but two of the stolen guns have been recovered.

Hey, thanks for the reply and info. I googled the question and couldn't find anything. Guess that settles the insurance fraud remarks. Sounds like the perps ran into a problem trying to off them. Or someone got their own ass in a sling and named them in a deal. Or maybe DNA broke the case. Sure would be interesting to know the investigative nuggets.

Anybody see a vendor (Highland Arms) was on the polo shirts) at the show? Was a old gentleman doing most of the talking. I do believe he was in hall A along the wall same isle as the main entrance. I looked at a really nice rifle and probably should have picked it up. I had to grab something back in hall C and totally missed him on my way out my bad as it was getting close to closing time Sunday. Wondering if maybe he's a regular at the show or has a shop. Appreciate any info.

FIFY, there's an 's' on the end for those trying to find him here. And he's very sensitive about looking like Mickey Rooney so don't talk about that.

Jeff's a great guy, I purchased really nice examples of a S&W model 19-3, 29-2, 39-2, 34-1 and a nice pair of K frame targets from him. I've featured them on this forum. If you want to check out the pics, which shows the quality of the guns he deals in, click on kobsw, view profile and Latest threads started.

    Best regards
