He was exaggerating on the nukes, but he was serious about the enforcement and the superiority in arms of the government doing the enforcing. The left is going to lose patience with just passing laws that are not enforced for them. At some point they are going to demand that leftist governors, State Police leaders (like Cuomo's man in NY), DAs, Police Chiefs start the round up. Eric Swalwell is not an idiot. He is a powerful congressman. The statement was made intentionally and with purpose --to get the idea of the confiscation juggernaut rolling. You will see it coming. It will gather steam. Moms Demand will start carping. David Hogg will call for it (probably be one of the first), politicians like Ocasio Cortez, NYC's Diblasio, Murphy in NJ, Newsome in CA, Cuomo in NY, will soon enough start making demands or openly discussing it (without the reference to Nukes), but their intentions will be clear.
