Not a good idea to lie. It’s a law or regulation with force of law to identify to the Carrier if IRC.

Didn't make a difference. FedEx Kinkos clerk scanned the Walther supplied label, and didn't say or ask anything when whatever details came up on his computer. Their system did print an extra label which he stuck to the box. It just went into the express pile and is sitting in Memphis right now.

Walther received it Monday after Thanksgiving and shipped it this afternoon (Friday). Five day turn around. Mixed reports on the Walther forum as to changes to trigger feel. Looking forward to getting my PPS back. I did take some pix of the internals and trigger to try to see what Walther did. They have been coy on the exact mods made.

I wasn't notified by Walther. I saw it on PAFOA. Sent mine in today.

I sent mine in today at the FED EX shipping office. The clerk, after scanning the label and printing up their own , looked at the address and asked me what was inside. I told him a firearm. He just nodded and took the parcel back to where it needed to be. I suspect after seeing the address he already knew what was in the box.

Got mine back a day early (thank you FedEx). I think the dingus is a little stiffer otherwise I don't think the trigger has changed much if at all from pre-recall. A quick range trip at lunch time went well. As accurate as it can be considering I haven't shot in about three weeks.

I took mine to a Fedex store, not the Fedex Terminal in Bethlehem which is an FFL. I had the printed shipping label and the gun in it's factory case. They put it in a medium sized Fedex box as per instructions, attached the label in a plastic cover and gave me a receipt and tracking number. No charge for the box.

I got mine back earlier this week, and the trigger feels equally bad before and after.

Which, I don't mean to say it's bad. But there's a lot of crunchiness in the take up to the wall that I never really liked.
