Re: Ex-PSP Colt 6520 Carbine from Blooming Grove barracks
I see it as being no different then owning a Nazi marked firearm. I know a few guys that won’t but don’t judge and I know a few guys that won’t and will judge.
I have several including one that the SS carries as well as other memorabilia. I don’t care what anyone thinks because I know why I own them and it’s not out of malice or hate.

It might raise a collector's interest if the rifle contained an official PSP patch/Logo stamped onto the frame.

Re: Ex-PSP Colt 6520 Carbine from Blooming Grove barracks
I would be interested, but only because it was PSP issued. I'd prefer one of the 14" 870's though...….

Re: Ex-PSP Colt 6520 Carbine from Blooming Grove barracks
I have a pair of buddies that bought them last year when they were on the market. Based on the ones I have handled, other than the serial numbers indicating they are contract builds for an LE agency, there's nothing about them that directly links them to PSP. They are Colt 6520's LE marked. They have Surefire M500A fore ends on them, with an unknown brand sling. The rear end of the sling has an integral mag holder. No telling if it was ordered that way, or Dept armorer's equipped them.
Buy it because it's a Colt, buy it because it's an AR, buy it because you can afford it. Whatever your justification, if you want it go get it.
I have plenty of older used guns. I've never wondered who owned it or used it prevoiusly. Realistically, you could make up any story you want and it *could* be true lolSomething clever belongs here. Same screen name at ARFCOM.
