Anyone else hate the new tree stand regulations for public land?

I took a walk yesterday to check out some spots for rifle season. I walked around for 3 hrs. I found three ladder stands and one climber. It really pisses me off that people can set up a stand and stake a claim to a section of public land. Two of these ladder stands have been there since last year. These people may only hunt a couple days a year and it sucks for everyone else. I know I have the right to hunt wherever I want, but I don't want some guy sitting 20 yrds from me. I'm thinking about buying some really cheap lock on stands and putting them in trees right next to the ladder stands. I think it would be funny when people come in to "their spot" and see a stand hanging right next to their's. I know I can find other places to hunt but I've been hunting this section for about 20 yrs and some of these stands are in key areas. It used to be if you get in early you were good. Now people pretty much own small sections of the woods.

Depends on the nurse giving the sponge bath. I'm not entirely sure that is a good trade off though.

If it's on public land, it must be a public tree stand. Sit in it.

You used to have to pull your stand. Now you can put it up before archery season and leave it until all the seasons close. It allows people to basically put up permanent stands.

Wear a harness. If you don't you are a dumb ass.

I think stands should be removed every day. Yes you can set up right next to it because it;s public land but when that person comes in and you are there that just leads to arguments . I go hunting to get away from shit. I don't want to have to deal with it in the woods.

Stands on SGL need to have an identification tag. If no tag report it to the Game Warden. Same with stands left after the season.
