Florida, Ohio, and Texas went the right way, now I'm interested to see if that Oprah and Obama money pays off in Georgia like they hope.

Here in the LV we have an interesting situation. The Dem won the new 7th district in the US house, but it appears the Repub won the remaining term of of retiring Charlie Dent in the old 15th. So it looks like Marty Nothstein will be in the house for two months and then Susan Wild takes over.
I was watching her victory speech and it is a good thing I did not have a gun handy or I would have shot the TV! It is going to be a long two years until we can replace her...

9 to 9 in House of Reps from PA. The R is going to pick up Georgia. 53+% at 93% counted.

Does anyone know if anything changed with our PA state house or reps and Senate?

By my count we lost seats in both houses, but managed to hold on.
    State House: 109R - 94D (changed from 121R - 78D - 4 vacant)
State Senate: 29R - 21D (changed from 34R - 16D) this could change since there are two outstanding races that are statistical ties right now. I gave 1 to each side.

I based that on the info here: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...elections.html

2016 majorities for Republicans in PA were at the highest levels since the 1950s and we were bound to lose seats and about what I was predicting. However, after HB2060 I started to lose faith in the Republicans, even though they had huge majorities. At the state level we really need to stay in top of these people and get organized. We can't turn into NJ as we sit complacent.

What a bunch of chicken littles. Did you expect the republicans to gain seats everywhere? The republicans losing the house almost guarantees a Trump win in 2020, especially if pelosi gets speaker again.

The much hyped blue wave didn't happen.
