Re: Who's voting tomorrow?
I was in line at 6:50. There was a man in front of me. A married couple got in behind me while we waited for the door. By the time I got out of the booth I had to shoulder my way out thru the crowd. I saw more voters today than the last 3 elections combined.

Re: Who's voting tomorrow?
My polling place was packed with hunters and construction workers this morning, they don't mind the rain...I think you might be right.
Ken Matthews said yesterday that historically, bad weather is bad for Democrats. Hope it holds true today.
Looks like God is on our side...monsoon going on here.Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Re: Who's voting tomorrow?
It is pouring down rain here. I'm waiting for my wife to come home from eye doctor so we can both go vote. I'm still not allowed to drive yet. It looks like I better find a rain suit as there is no room inside the church where we vote when they are busy. I'll be standing outside with a cane. I hope not too long as I still can't stand for a long time without pain. I thought about absentee but I did it last election because I was in surgery and I didn't want to do it this year. I don't trust all the Democrats who run the polls in my area to make sure my vote counts.

It's 10:00 and we have a line. Normally we'd be twiddling our thumbs right now. I'm thinking this is what a red wave looks like.

#1 in the precinct, arrived at 0640 and waited. When I left at 0703, there were only the usual suspects present for the two precincts that vote in respective halves of the same room.

We voted straight "Red Tsunami" at 9:30 this morning. Cars were lined up waiting for parking spots to vacate. Didn't see this during the last presidential election. Something's burning fer sure....
Or the tectonic plates are rockin' around that ring of fire.
We celebrated by picking up a $14 wood-fired "Truffle pizza: portobello mushrooms, bacon, gorgonzola cheese, carmelized onions, truffle oil, chives, and shredded mozzarella".Last edited by bamboomaster; November 6th, 2018 at 02:46 PM.
