Judging by the comments on the Facebook pages of a couple LGS that I've seen advertising it, there's a decent amount of people that "have to have it."

Me? It's an Austrian version of the FN509. I own a few Glocks and have no problem with them. But lately their new product offerings and updates to "perfection" do nothing more than make me roll my eyes.

From the TFB I gathered that the G45 is a true gen 5 where the 19x wasn't..

As far as, trigger, some internals, and I can't remember what else..

I do not have any need for a 19 slide length gun with a 17 grip length, since concealment is my priority. But with that said, if this new model leads to a Gen 5 Glock 19 with front slide serrations and no front grip cut out = put me down for 1 or even 2.

My 19s are currently the Gen 4 Front Slide Serrations model that came out for the summer run in 2017. I REALLY like how the front slide serrations look and I like the fact that they aid in performing press checks. I've had more than a "few" different 19s, and I really like these. Having options is always good.
