    I don't know, you could make an argument that there isn't enough room to get your thumb around it, and is in fact less vertical than the front of the receiver.

    If it is angled it's not vertical and that grip is angled twice making it an angled angled grip, twice as angled as angled.

    He just needs to add a pirate cutlass as a bayonet... That would be Cl !...

    So I just realized, despite having looked at it 5x already...he took off the strap and rubber portion - the part that actually makes the "brace" into a brace?

    No he actually did not remove anything. This style of brace has no strap or rubber but. Check out my post on page one and the picture of the actual product before he put the rubber bumper on it.

    You have a link for the product? I don't see it on the Maxim Defense site.

    Maxim sells both retractable pistol braces and retractable stocks, I'm not sure what that falls under. All the braces sold as braces have the rubber portion and the strap. It looks like the jury overturned based on length of pull though, not how the stock was configured.

    I'm just guessing that this is a discontinued product based on the "Thordson Device"? Its not a brace - it was a "cheek rest"
