Full Auto
A few years ago, my old aunt left my cousin & I some money. I have grandchildren, my cousin does not; but he now has an original 1928 Thompson & an original German storm rifle. Really not for shooting ( $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ) ,just investments. Both just beautiful. Some trivia. The AK is a design stolen from the German Storm Rifle designer. Do the search.

Re: Full Auto
Old news but not nearly as much was taken from the STG-44 as people like to think and regurgitate. What was taken was the concept of the intermediate cartridge in a carbine sized rifle as well as manufacturing practices of the Germans which made all the differences in the success of the AK-47. Before WWII IS was very different then any firearms manufacturing that had taken place before.
Look it up.Last edited by Hodgie; October 13th, 2018 at 02:47 PM.

Re: Full Auto
Yeah, an uneducated tank driver suddenly becomes a mechanical design genius. captured Germans designed the AK and they gave credit to one of "The Common People"

Re: Full Auto
Guys there plenty of well documented data out there presented by very well read informed guys like Ian McCallum from Forgotten Weapons, Larry Vickers, and Mishaco that can provide the history of the entire development of the AK from the beginning, it's influences, and how it made it to the finished product we have now. Or you all can just come with answers based on internet lore and assumptions.
