Re: HB 2711 Prohibiting firearms at polling places
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but with only 3 legislative days in the 2017-2018 session, isn't impossible for this bill to be passed?

Re: HB 2711 Prohibiting firearms at polling places
you missed the point.
instead of publishing a terrible bill that is clearly about restricting republicans from voting, they could have hidden the intention. it wouldn't be the first nonsense law they passed, no one would really ask why polling stations were relocated to schools and courthouses.
effect would be the same, people would conceal anywhere they didn't hit a metal detector or pat down. There is no way to make it out alive...

Yep, that is what it is all about. This is just one of the hundreds of gun control bills that the Democrats are relentlessly going to drop into the hopper after many in the GOP sold us out on Bloomberg's money pushed HB2060 through the State House. Even if it goes no where in the next few days, it will come back.
