Default .32 s&w long (aka Colt Np)

Does anyone here reload these? I just got a S&W model 1903 hand ejector and was just curious how many people here reload for it. Thanks.

Yes, I have a pile of guns chambered in it, and have a rather odd love of the cartridge. Keep an eye on Midway's reloading section, you can find appropriate bullets on sale for very good prices.

The only stuff I have cast for it was .311 round ball to make plinking loads for .32 short. You probably won't have to worry too much about lube or alloy hardness, velocity with most powders is pretty low.

The one i have seems to be pretty accurate for a 100 year old gun. Is this normal for this caliber?

yes, .32 S&W long is known as an accurate caliber, they even make high dollar semi-auto target pistols chambered for it.

It might be because they had real craftsmen making them 100 years ago.
