I don't know the engineering of it, but I've tried to fire my 11-87 by squeezing butt under my arm (as if I was injured in shoulder), and it jams on me.
It’s gas operated so it won’t care about resting on a shoulder or not. That’s recoil operated that is effected by "limp wristing".

The 11-87 can have trouble with lighter loads in under 26 inch barrels from the shoulder. Versa max is a better system of gas regulation. 11-87 is old as dirt

In my case they were full power loads, but it is an 18 in barrel. Didn't do it every time.

I don't want one so doesn't matter to me, but I am curious as to the reports of people with hands-on experience with one of these. I still suspect they'll have FTE jams.

Nice, but I think a better deal is the Black Aces Tactical Semi-auto Shockwave available at an even lower pricepoint. Available with both synthetic furniture (starting at $ 449.00) and wood furniture (starting at $ 574.00).

I got mine 2 weeks ago Mechanicsburg ordanance , love it

Here is a few pics of my set, I stripped both down completely and did a matt full hard chrome finish, have done this on several in past and finish on a few is 20 years old and still looks like new. Lots of great properties .
Anyways, the v3 runs like a Swiss watch , field thru slugs have yet to have issue ...
