Anyone own a Hudson h9?
Was always intrigued by them yet I have not shot one. Anyone on here have one or experience with one and would you recommend it?

If you want to see some good honest hard use and user reviews on it check out InRangeTV’s videos on it.
I’d love to have one but it’s not within my budget. The Aluminum frame model should be releasing soon and from what I’ve seen handles exactly the same, weighs less, and is priced a few hundred less.

Re: Anyone own a Hudson h9?
My friend Les at Sheaffer Precison Gunworks owns one ,he really likes it , hopefully he will chime in on this thread and let you know some details on it. Lately the price has come down on these as well. Very interesting design.

Re: Anyone own a Hudson h9?
Tanner's had a used one a couple of months back for $700. Was very tempted to pick it up, but decided to hold off. It's a fairly heavy gun. More interested in the H9a which is the aluminum frame version. It's supposed to weight 8oz less than the H9 (26 down from 34), and Hudson is talking MSRP of around $950. That's much more attractive. It would be even better if Hudson offered a version with a threaded barrel and the RDS slide cutout, but all of that is a la carte right now and nearly doubles the price of the gun.

Yeah I saw they are offering aftermarket threaded barrels and yes an aluminum was and is in the works. I think I too will wait to handle one of those models before purchasing.
Thanks for the info guys!

Re: Anyone own a Hudson h9?
Ahhhh the time of wait and finding a good deal on a bnib h9 allowed me to scoop one up. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet, but through disassembly to clean the gun. It seems to great attention to detail and the fit and finish is nice and tight. Will update this thread after a range session.
Thanks,
Joe
