Re: Interesting video on small caliber carry
IMO any gun is better than none. I take no issues with a .22 or .380 . Sometimes carrying a larger gun becomes an issue. That is solved with smaller weapons. IMO training is far more important weapon/bullet size. What good is a BFH if you cant swing it?
Aggies Coach Really ??? Take off the tin foil bro.

Re: Interesting video on small caliber carry
Completely agree that any gun is better than no gun, as long as you train and are proficient with it. Personally everything I carry is 9mm, IMO shot placement is more important than caliber.

Re: Interesting video on small caliber carry
I pocket a Beretta 950 in .25 a lot of times. I have it in my gym shorts pocket lounging around the house right now actually. It's definitely my "I'm not carrying a gun" gun.
I can pump 9 rounds into a spot a little bigger than my fist with it as fast as I can pull the trigger at 5yds. I can't really imagine most would be bad guys would want to stand there for all 9. It's not the best choice out there, but if I can't carry anything else, it beats harsh language.

Re: Interesting video on small caliber carry
The man is a mathematical moron. He said the frontal area of a .45 round is "22/100 of 1% bigger than 9mm". No, the cross-sectional area of a .45 is 1.6X that of a 9mm. That's 0.159 sq in vs 0.098 sq in.
I can easily pocket-carry a 9mm. In the rare occasions I want to deep carry, my Kahr CM-9 or Sig P365 melt away in a tuckable holster, or I'll carry my Kahr P380. There's no way I'd carry something smaller.

Re: Interesting video on small caliber carry
Regardless of the size of the gun or the caliber, if you can't hit what your aiming at under pressure, you are likely screwed.
