Re: Elections Have Consequences
GL001 is absolutely correct.
Sure, the Dems and the Reps don't always "represent" you 100% of the time. But only one side has a track record of wanting to disarm you for the past 175 years, and wants to implement another AWB, and implement stricter laws on the guns that they cannot outright ban.
Rest assured they will be signing up more dead people to vote. They will be voting at multiple polling stations. They will be indoctrinating more of our youth to vote for them. They will be turning a blind eye to non-citizens voting(and are promoting it in several states right now).
If you think the bump stock thing is bad and believe Trump should be punished with a vote against him - just wait for what is to be banned should the Dems gain control.
No 3rd party has a chance in the foreseeable future. Until both the Reps and Dems are weakened sufficiently, a 3rd party vote is for the party that you are likely trying to vote against. In this last presidential election Johnson votes were votes for Hillary, Stein votes were votes for Trump.
If you eventually want a 3rd party in office, at least secure SCOTUS with Constitutional Jurists first. One or two more seats on that court would be ideal.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515, SteveWag

Re: Elections Have Consequences
Voting for a third party is throwing your vote away. It only goes to the democrats who have become the party of communism. The democrats pay to have third party names put on the ballot. There is no chance a third party candidate can win anything higher in office than dog catcher. That's the way it is.
Corruption is the default behavior of government officials. JPC
