So this dirtbag posted a Spike's stripped lower...I PM him right away telling him I'll take the lower. He said he lives in Philly, but works in Plymouth Meeting. I told him I could meet him at the Plymouth Meeting Mall. He tells me that he was shocked I replied so quickly to his FS thread and agrees to meet me in Plymouth Meeting where he works. Tells me that he will call me on Friday to meet on Saturday. Never calls me...so I text him...he goes dark. So I text him asking if he sold lower from under me with no response.

I saw he just posted a feedback thread for the guy that bought the lower.

I've been on this forum before there were 1,000 members and I've had so many more good transactions. I can count on one hand how many negative feedback I've left for people over the years. This guy is a douche and everyone should know that he's not to be trusted.

I still have texts if "Jason" wants to man up and prove that what I wrote is wrong.

The last few months I have been involved in several bull shit deals on the buying and the selling end, one of which was similar to yours. Before this I always had good success buying and selling here and hope to start having them again.

Just to make it clear, I did not ban this guy because of this feedback. This is a guy that has been banned multiple, upon multiple times for engaging in this kind of behavior (there's even a thread about it in the classified posted by me). This account, plus the 3 other ones have all been banned.

I normally just let it go, but this guy really pissed me off because I was going out of my way to meet him.

Whenever I sell something...I as the seller always felt that I should meet the buyer. I didn't ask for a lower price as I accepted his asking price and I was going to drive out to meet him.

I'm sure most of us have full time jobs and kids, so making time can be tough, so when he didn't reply...I knew he burned me. He deleted his FS thread, so I couldn't find him and I deleted our PM because we were communicating via text.

This does not surprise me that he's done this before and I'm glad he's gone. I hope he doesn't come back as we don't need people like him on this forum.

He agreed to sell you something. You agreed to buy it. Then he changed his mind - and didn't have the courtesy to tell you about it. And THAT makes him a scumbag? Really?? He didn't take your money. He didn't sell you bad goods. He didn't arrange to meet you at a time and place and leave you hanging there. He didn't cost you ANYTHING other than a few text messages. All he did was ghost on you. "Asshole" seems perfectly appropriate, but "scumbag" ?? Seems kind of harsh.
