Killion (R) praising Moms Demand Action.
McGarrigle (R) pushing for a yes vote on the bill, "championing" it "common sense", "closing loophole", 24 hours more sensible than 60 days, prevents escalation.
Street (D) Philadelphia pushing a yes vote, protect the women bla bla bla.
Tomlinson (R) pushing a yes vote.
Brewster (D) voted yes on amendment, tried to find middle of the road, women beaten to death, need to solve the problem, need more thought about what is happening and how to fix, supports the bill but it won't solve the problem.

I repeat what I said before.

This is a cold war to disarm the citizenry and negate the ultimate check and balance on government power.
This is the fight of our time, right here right now.

Calls and emails were once enough, but they are now being outmaneuvered by the continuous physical presence of Bloomberg's paid gun ban lobbyists in Harrisburg.
The only way for us to win this battle is to adjust our tactics to match the current strategy being used against us.
This means we need to establish a constant physical presence in Harrisburg to counter the paid Bloomberg gun ban lobby.

We are left with only 3 choices.
Organize a rotating schedule of volunteers to maintain a 2A presence in Harrisburg.
Pay lobbyists to maintain a 2A presence in Harrisburg.
Continue as we are and lose our 2A liberty one vote at a time until it's gone forever.

There is no other possible outcome here.
No matter what, the status quo will not continue from this point forward.
Remain complacent and be defeated, or get involved and fight this battle to win it.

Get physically involved, or get financially involved, or accept the incremental destruction of the 2A in Pennsylvania.

    Greetings,

Well, here is a reply from my "Pro Gun, NRA Life Member" PA Senator Mensch:
With "friends" like these, who needs liberals to screw us over?

    "Dear James,

Today, the Senate took action to protect victims of domestic violence through the passage of House Bill 2060.

House Bill 2060 brings consistency to the process by which an individual is required to relinquish a firearm due to a domestic violence conviction or judge’s order. Additionally, it establishes predictability by creating a consistent 24-hour time period for relinquishment once a hearing has been completed for Protection From Abuse (PFA) orders and misdemeanor domestic violence convictions.

To be clear, House Bill 2060 does not take firearms away from responsible owners. Rather, it protects victims of domestic violence by taking firearms out of the hands of those who have been through a hearing process or have been convicted, and are deemed by the court to be violent and a threat.

This legislation also provides a safer setting for law enforcement, who must wade into an unstable setting. Domestic violence calls are some of the most dangerous calls law enforcement officers answer – 22 percent of law enforcement fatalities are domestic violence related.

Last year, 117 people fell victim to domestic abuse making it the deadliest year in the Commonwealth since 2011. According to the Coalition Against Domestic Violence, firearms were used in two-thirds of those cases.

Clearly, we are doing more to protect victims of domestic violence while at the same time protecting constitutional rights. I believe this bill strikes the right balance.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to me. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me again.

    Sincerely,

    Bob Mensch
    Senator, 24th District
    Majority Caucus Chair "

Ask him to point out in the bill where it shows full due process... Doubt he will.
