Moving guns PA to NJ??
Hey there...this may prompt some humor, some surprise...the wife has it in her head to move to the Jersey shore when we retire (2-4 years). My question is this...what's the likelihood I can bring my gun collection (long gun and pistol, approx. 40 total, no NFA) with me? Anyone know what the procedure is? Thanks.

Re: Moving guns PA to NJ??
Two suggestions. Pick a new gun friendly location to retire to, or pick a new wife.

As long as they comply with NJ law on AWB and mag capacity, bring em and keep em. Get a FID card and you are good to go.

Do not tell people you live in NJ.
They will only laugh at you.I'd rather have a gun in my hand then a cop on the phone.

Quite a bit of your savings will go to the nanny state with nothing in return. There is Delaware, Virginia, North and South Carolina and Florida that allow for concealed carry. Florida and Delaware are bit douchey but it's not the People's Republic of New Jersey. Sit down and talk with your wife and explain all the negatives from living and paying out the nose for everything in New Jersey.

Wow.. I don't think I have ever heard that question before. So many other seaside type places. NJ has become a laughing stock of the country between their taxes, nanny laws, crime, industry
