Full FOAC ALERT below for reference.

HB 2060 (Rep. Quinn's anti-gun PFA bill) is in the PA Senate and will be acted on TODAY by members of the Judiciary Committee later this afternoon. We REALLY need your 'help' and ANYTHING YOU CAN DO to help will be greatly appreciated to express our deep concern and objections to HB 2060!!

I’ve attached our talking points and a deeper review of the bill for you see the problems.

Earlier this session the Senate passed SB 501 that both FOAC and the NRA was neutral on. At that time we identified three technical defects in the amendment language that was added to SB 501, as passed in the Senate. Ideally, FOAC would like to see the language in HB 2060 replaced with the language in SB 501 and the minor changes, identified below, made.

There are two instances of 24 hours that need to be changed to 48 hours.

Under third-party safekeeping, FOAC and the Pennsylvania Sheriff's Association and the NRA went to see FRIENDS restored as an option to relinquish Firearms to when a PFA is issued. It’s important to note that keeping ‘Friends’ would make this legislation at least marginally compliant with the USSC decision (attached) in Henderson v. US. Also, some are misquoting the position of PSA as the Sheriffs neither support or oppose HB 2060 and have concerns about the removal of Friends and Family from 3rd Party Safe-Keeper status.

Thank you for ALL your help last week. Time is against us so speed is of the essence. We need ALL your support and help to guide the Senators to stop HB 2060 in its' current form from advancing.

You can find the members of the Senate Judiciary Committee here: https://foac-pac.org/PA-Senate-Committees and you can find ALL the PA Senators here: https://foac-pac.org/PA-Legislator-Info

I also want to make special mention of the Herculean efforts of the Firearms Policy Coalition and Brandon Combs for working so hard and standing by PA Gun Owners as well as Attorney Josh Prince!! If you can please consider supporting FPC as well!

GOA was also working with us to help stop HB 2060.

We are honored to work with and have the support of patriots such as FPC and GOA!

Thanks again for all your support as we continue the stuggle!!

    Kim Stolfer

    FOAC, President

If it makes it through committee today that's first consideration. Second consideration will be tomorrow and will be the last chance for any amendments.

PA Senate is going into committee meetings right now.
Judiciary Committee meeting is second on the list, so very, very soon.
Please call the 15 committee members listed above immediately.
The call narrative is written for your convenience.

Called all the (R) Senators as I'm at work and getting the stunk eye from my boss. I also sent emails to all twice and sent to our gun club and several posts on face book.
