What a great find. I’m not much of a knife guy so I’ll comment on the revolver. The early 19s are every bit a quality piece as the Colt Pythons in my opinion. Why didn’t they achieve a legendary reputation as well?

bripro, From one S&W revolver guy to another, they will. The pre 19's, 27's and 29's are inching up there.
Here's my very nice shooter grade model 29-2 4" from 1970 P&R +TTT and red insert front site ramp. As you see it that gun is $900+ all day around my circles.
I have the presentation box and all it's paper work as well with that included you're looking at almost $2k.
Hang in there the Smith's are on the rise.
