Thankyou to everyone for you kind words, thoughts, and prayers.
Your walk with us throughout Mtn Jacks ordeal both publically and privately was amazingly wonderful & truly gave us much strength and encouragement.
You all should be proud of yourselves, as we are grateful and proud to be a part of your community.
    I sincerely Thank you!

While You Honored MtnJack with the Memorial Title, I am truly humbled as it was you all who lifted us!
    I sincerely Thank you!

MtnJack lived fully as much as possible and outlived his odds with his disease (CLL)
At his funeral many open carried and his pall bearers wore Dont Tread on Me T-shirt’s to match the one he wore under his flannel. He always wore that shirt to spark sincere discussion.

If he could have one last message to you, it might be Thank You! Don’t get Stepped on! and Carry On!

Lyrics that played as MtnJack was Carried Away

Fast, on a rough road riding
    High, through the mountains climbing
Twisting, turning further from my home.
Young, like a new moon rising
Fierce, through the rain and lightning
Wandering out into this great unknown.
And I don't want no one to cry, but tell em'
    If I don't survive
    I was born free
    I was born free
    I was born free
    Born Free
    Free, like a river raging
Strong, if the wind I'm facing.
Chasing dreams and racing father time.
    Deep like the grandest canyon,
    Wild like an untamed stallion.
If you can't see my heart you must be blind.
You can knock me down and watch me bleed
But you can't keep no chains on me.
    I was born free
    I was born free
    I was born free
    Born Free
And I'm not good at long goodbyes but look down
    Deep into my eyes.
    I was born free!
    Hey yaya yayaya
    Oh hoo
    Calm facing danger
    Lost, like an unknown stranger
Grateful for my time with no regrets.
    Close to my destination
    Tired, frail and aching
Waitin' patiently for the sun to set
And when its done believe that
I will yell it from that mountain high
    I was born free
    I was born free
    I was born free
    Born Free
And I will vow to the shining seas
And celebrate God's Grace on me.
    I was born free
    I was born free
    I was born free
    Born Free
Oh, oh oh oh wah hoo

My favorite Mtn Jack story: Many years ago my wife was driving a van full of 2A activists back from the rally in Harrisburg. Jack asked if she wanted him to spell her at the wheel. They ended up in Ohio.

Second favorite: Many years ago a group of us were "debriefing" at a local dining establishment after our IDPA match. A young jerk with more alcohol than common sense in his system grabbed for Jack's gun. Jack flattened him with one punch.

I was unaware. Didn't think I missed much on this forum, but guess I was wrong.
