There is INL in Idaho, which is pretty good for gun laws.

I haven't spoken with mine yet but we're getting close to being on a first name basis with these damn lantern flies.

I expect that, as has already happened in NJ and FL, the law will first be applied in the school environment. Some kid will talk about firearms, or will use his social media page to show pictures of hunting or shooting with parents. All legal, all supervised, all non-threatening. Then some student or teacher or administrator is going to gin up a complaint because the student broke school zero tolerance policy. All of it will involve speech around a legal and a Constitutionally protected activity.

Then it will be send in the SWAT team and confiscate everything.

This atrocious bill will be used to attack the First Amendment as it relates to communications involving firearms and the Second Amendment. How much do you want to bet that next May when we show up at the State House for the FOAC event, legitimately exercising our Second and First Amendment Rights, Democrat operatives and Governors office staff are going to photograph, identify and file for orders against people who show up and aggressively voice their opinions or who open carry. Just watch.

I have long maintained that Government cannot infringe any any one of the Bill of Rights without infringing on the rest of them. This Bill does not just infringe on the Second Amendment, it undermines the First, Fourth, Fifth, and perhaps the Sixth as well.

We bought our homestead in TN a couple years ago based on
    gun rights
    no state income tax
    Low gas tax
    lots of personal freedom
    very little government intervention
    polite people
7 degrees warmer there than here on average

Hope I can afford to move and build there before I die.

Does this mess have to go to a Senate committee, or will it go directly to the floor?

I have already sent my senator a detailed email. Is there a committee whose members should be targeted next, or would a Senate-wide email blast be called for?
