I am also shocked at how many “professionals” use a serpa. Our school police officer just got one with a new Glock. I asked him what model he got since his old one was gap45. He said “idk I havent really looked at it much. They told my it was more of a target model. “ it took all I had to not shake my head

Apparently you're on the "Serpa's are junk" bandwagon. I primarily use a Serpa, and I intentionally used it when I took retention and disarmament training. This was physical, hands-on stuff, and if my hoster was prone to break I wanted to know it.

I did have an equipment failure. My 1911 training drone broke while being forced from the holster. The holster remained in tact, and remains in service as my primary OC holster.

Glock 21s and Glock 30s, but their vests, jackets, etc usually say “STATE PAROLE” on them.
