Well, my PA and NY season are officially over. I had a ton of great encounters and could have killed a ton of doe and a few bucks, just none that I was interested in taking with a bow. Not it's pistol only in PA for bear and deer. I am unable to use a pistol in NY so a lever action will get the call there.

Late bow for me too unless I score a 2A doe with my 30-30. 170 gr Speer Deep Curls the second week of rifle.

I'm liking the residential back yard game preserve.

No huge racked animals but the 2 biggest I've taken which were this year and last.

Finally connected. Last day, Monday November 12, at 1621. A very nice 6 point came in about 70 yards to my right, after milling around a little I saw that he was being followed by a smaller 9 pt. The 6 pt was not a legal buck in 1A where I was hunting, but the 9 pt was. The two milled around a bit, and the 9 pt looked like he was going to move off down the hill. I grunted twice and he came in, broadside shot at about 10 yards.
    2018 PA Archery Results-
    Hunted 26 days
    86.5 Hours in stand
7 Buck seen, 1 of which was legal
    13 deer total
1 shot opportunity, 1 dead buck.

On to OH, WV Rifle, and maybe some later season bow hunting in those states as well.
