    Default PRS 6mm Rifle Build

Finally snagged my action from my FFL and tossed this together tonight. Still waiting on glass and a brake, but that will be next month more than likely pending budget.

Rem 700 factory action, lefty for teh win
Mcgowan 26in full contour SS barrel 1:7 twist
XLR chassis with ARCA rail setup
Triggertech trigger, which from dry fire play tonight blows my timney away

Can't wait for next Monday to fire it at the range for shits and giggles

McGowan makes a decent barrel, so I'm sure it will shoot well. So why did you choose 6mm over 6.5? I favor 6.5 since components are easier to get and that makes life easier. Although, I'm a big fan of the 243 as well.

My other rig is a criterion barrel which shoots down to a 1/4moa so I am hopeful this does as well.

6mm creed just was the latest fad in prs land and I figured what the hell I'd jump on the band wagon

It will be even better when you fire it, I got one for my hunting riffle because the flat triggers were cheaper then the Timney, and I wanted to try one, will be switch some of my Timneys out now. They are all they claim.

Tossed my old XTR on it and got a APA lil bastard. Gun weighs in sans bipod at 16#, which coupled with a aggressive brake makes for stupidly easy shooting rifle.

Not my best, but just was shooting off a stack of bags today. Bipod adapter should be here on Friday. And yes, this TT trigger is amazing, blows my old timney out of the water
